I stopped by Princess Place Preserve on my way home to visit a friend who was camping over the weekend. This is just a few miles from home (my thinking place).

Finally, my buddy "Stump" playing a game of horse shoes. I don't remember why they call him Stump??

I rode just about two-hundred miles Saturday. It was a good day. I noticed that I don't get saddle sore like I did when I first bought the KLX. Maybe the saddle is getting used to me.

From those pictures I think I know exactly where you were!

If I find the fender bag, it and the tools will be coming back. Glad you have a grand time. There are a lot of places to visit in the ONF, you have just been to a small portion of it. There are almost 400,000 acres. It stretches for miles in all directions from where you were! I love the KLX for riding in it.

The interesting thing is that I left the store you called me from about 30 minutes prior to you calling!

Yes, we need to get together and do some riding up in Flagler county!
I don't expect to see those tools again, but who knows. At least I had my cheap wrenches in there. I was kind of attached to that ratchet though. Don't know why, I have 5 or 6 of them.

I would definately, like to see more of the ONF. Most of the riding around me is classified as tresspassing. It's great that you're so close to that area. Let me know when is good for you. I'm ussually free on Sat and Sundays.

Wow those areas look really nice to ride in. I'm jealous, well except that mud puddle.

Here's a link to princess place preserve. It's not a motorcycle park, although there are a few miles of dirt roads to get there. It's a place I visit often. They have the first in-ground swimming pool in Florida. It's basically a cement pond with drainage holes that create a waterfall effect out the sides of it. The horse stables are pretty cool. they still have signs up over the stalls with the horses names.

deej,

In the Ocala National Forest as is most of Florida, we have clear water over top of a sand bottom - not Georgia clay!

The bike comes out clean. You should come down and visit sometime!

Hey Deej,

That's not a very good pic. I should've taken it a little closer. Marty's right that water is actually very clear. But where I live (closer to the beach) we tend to get some really nasty black mud after it rains. Although, we haven't had much rain in the last couple of months.
