Found out today that I have far too few screws for actual ice running. It wasn't terrible but I couldn't really give it much throttle without the tire breaking loose. With the thaw we had yesterday all the snow became wet and compacted, made for crazy traction even in the deep virgin stuff. I got a bit brave today and got it wound out in 2nd standing up hauling through the fresh stuff when the front tire tucked and became a plow! Floating on top to diggin into snow thats more than halfway up the wheel will stop you, dead. I did a pretty nice faceplant off the side (ATGATT with mx boots, knee pads, elbow pads and full face helmet) and I was laughing so hard I couldn't get up and get the bike off my ankle. When I landed in the snowbank it filled my helmet with snow, it was literally packed in I could barely see with my right eye through a small crack in the snow.

Shortly after I was trying to clear a 2' tall snowbank so I approached in first, slipped the clutch and went WFO, while in the deep snow mind you. Well she stood straight up on top of the snowbank and I was stuck there for about 3 seconds, with the bike standing completely perpendicular to the ground! The front came down finally and I rode it out
