I knowI should probably just buy some nice ones, I particularly like the Acerbis, but wondering if anyone who has replaced their stock handguards would like to sell me their old ones.

I went for a great ride in Capitol Forest near Olympia, WA last weekend. Had afun time, made it all day without a crash. Came home and sprayed it off, just finishing it up and the little bit of water pressure and soft ground made it fall over. Crack -left handguard toast. The left rear turn signal was also bent in a little.

If you have the stock guards just sitting around and want to turn them into some green, so to speak, let me know.

On another note, I rode my buddies newDRZ400 for a bit. Nice ride, plenty of power, but his stock 50/50 tires put him on his side down the trail. The difference between the 250 to 400 was similar to the 400 to another new XR650L I have ridden.
