Smile Still got it!

As many of you know, I have the '07 KLX for sale on Craig's list. I was asking $3500 and got like 2 hit's on the ad with no luck. I hope Craig's List is not a big indicator of our Reasale Value. Anyway, I am trying to not have to sell my Baby and luckily have sold most of my extra Guitars to supplement my unemployment checks during my Layoff. I have gotten my CDL and start a new Job this week . I am looking forward to a real income again and have been riding the KLX alot lately.

Good for you! Congrats on the new job. It sounds like you are going to make the stretch back to a decent income without selling the bike. It might have been easier to sell if it had happened to be spring or summer when you had to put her up.

Thumbs up

Hey, the bike holds its value, but the fact is that many people are in the same situation as you are. Lots of lay-offs, and Christmas is just around the corner. Money is tight for almost everyone. Good luck with the truck driving thang.

Glad to hear you're hanging on to your bike! There's always a need for big/numerous things to be hauled in a truck, CDL will always be handy. Save some gas and ride the bike wherever you can around town. I'm starting a new job this week after being unemployed post Hurricane Gustav and the fact that I only put gas in my Accord once a month is what saved me. Ten bucks a week in the bike (that's for all the joy riding I do) beats the mess outta 45 bucks every other week in the Honda.

Thanks, I'm glad I'm able to hang on to it. I'll be hauling Fed-Ex Time sensitive freight from Airport to Airport(Great gig for a rookie.) I won't put but 20 miles a week on my Jetta. I'm glad to hear you are working also.
