Default Stay the **** away from thumpertalk

I've just about had it with thumpertalk.com.

I'm a liberal, and every single time I chime in on a discussion, I get people calling me a terrorist, saying that I don't respect the country, to leave the country, and all sorts of crap.

The gas system is horrifically flawed. People bitch about how nobody leaves their name when they give bad gas, but when you DO leave your name for bad gas, they just give it right back at you.

The mods are apathetic towards all the neocons parading around the site. They get angry when you say things like "republicans are idiots" yet they let people leave things in their sigs like "a vote for a democrat is a vote for a terrorist".

I've had it up to here with the site, i'm gone. I advise you folks to stay the **** away from the place.

Dammit, and I have a TT sticker on my bike too [:@] Maybe i'll just leave it on since their customer service isn't too shabby.

Jesus cripes, I checked up on my account to log out, never to log in again, only to find this:

Yeah, i'm gone from there. I'm ashamed that I purchased fork seals from them [:@]

I'm going outside to take the TT sticker on my right side numberplate off, and then buff out the stain it's inevitably left.

I have no problem with Thumper Talk and find people from the KLX section helpful even if I don't agree with everything they say

Well, truth be told, it was my fault for venturing into the "town square" section...

that is something that gets peoples emotions going. i try to stay away from those discussions, I don't particularly like someone trying to convince me i should think like them. I think like me

In defense of the site in general, the post was a "Town Square" and provided the disclaimer
"Town Square Feel like hangin' out and shooting the breeze with your fellow TTer's? This is the place (check your attitude at the door)."

I don't avoid an entire site because they have sections for free discussion or spin the news(like CNN).
FIGHT BACK! If they **** you off.

I am a proud VET, so I support everyone's right to speak their mind - even if it is 180 from mine.

Politics?, well I don't have much time for it anymore - got to ride!!

Happy Veterans Day to all!
