Default Starter current draw

Hello again, has anyone recorded the current draw of the starter on the 250s?
If not, I will connect my watt meter and do a test and post it.
Reason being, I am going the build my own LifeP04 battery pack. And I need to know the draw to purchase the correct C rating iron cells and corresponding BMS board. I plan to cut the top off my existing battery, recycle the lead and acid and install the cells and use the rest of the space for maybe tire repair kit, or something. I am probably going to use 26650 cylindrical cells. Probably going to be about 100 ca. for 8 cells and bms. I have a lithium battery spot welder already.

I would look at the Cold cranking rating of a stock lead acid battery. That would be a ball park for where you need to be. Why build on yourself when you can buy one? Of course I know the answer, you're an engineer.

HaHa, no, not an engineer, just have some experience with lithium batteries, have built a few ebike packs and fly r/c electric. I have a battery spot welder for building a pack and I just like fabrication. Its hard to have cells shipped to Canada at the moment for safety reasons even though life batteries are much safer. If I can't get cells I'll likely buy one locally. A lot lighter.
