I was going to get a star for an 09 and see if it would fit. Its only like $20 from ron ayers.

The only thing that I noticed is that the shift drum for the 09 has also changed. I wonder if the 2 need to be used together.

 

Yeah let me know if that works, cause I took mine out and grinded it. It made it better but it still jumps out of 2nd and I tried moving down the shifter but I couldn't get my boot in there at all to shift.

 

I got the replacement one and it solved my problem.
