Time to re-post this.

Sounds strong, and low pitched. I like it.

I'm glad you clarified that.

Im pretty sure staintune export, but it would probably cost an arm and a leg for it overseas. It already costs an arm and a leg over here, Lol.

Thanks for clearing that up for everyone WestOz.

Would be interested to know how much you think it adds to performance?
I am also in the market for an exhaust at the moment. What made you decide on Staintune over TK or Roosta?
Enjoy.
I have a second hand complete (header as well) Staintune if your interested

Sounds sick and looks the best by far. I would have one too instead of the Two Brothers M7 if it cost only $300.

If you want a little more power, get yourself this collar to raise the stock N1RX needle 1.5 mm. (Kawasaki part number 92143-1677) Should cost about $3. Just remove the top of the carb' and lift out the slide, remove the needle and slide the collar onto the needle then refit it as you took it apart. Fit a Twin Air or Uni Filter (about $25) to maximize effect and remove the airbox lid or the snorkel at the very least.

More horsepower for under $30.

Very nice deep tone. Sounds like a much bigger Thumper than a 250. It is quite different from the more throaty raspy sound of my HMF muff.

youll have to forgive me.. i cant wrap my mind around not needing a rejet when going from a stock pipe to an aftermarket pipe.

my first question:
is their a difference in air flow going from the stock pipe to the aftermarket pipe?
if the answer is no then i understand. if the answer is yes, then...

second question:
is the bike way rich from factory?
if yes then i understand. if the answer is no, then:

third question:
how can one greatly change the air dynamics of an exhaust and or intake on a carburated machine and not need to compensate for the change?

the US version of these bikes are way lean from the factory as it is.. the only possible explanation i can fathom to not need a rejet is either:
A. way rich in stock form
or
B. you exchanged the stock exhaust straw for an aftermarket exhaust straw (which from what i can tell isnt the case)..

So tempting but i have some financial issues at the moment, haha. Thanks for the offer though!
I was thinking about getting the header as well, how much performance does it add??
