Default So I get up yesterday morning and

My wife is in the garage sitting on my klx with a big grin on her face. I'm thinking woohoo some action on the klx.
Well, she informed me she wanted something to ride too, casue the klx was way to tall for her. She's 5' 2".
And we came home with this today.

I think the XT225 has become the official "wife/girlfriend" bike around here.

My girlfriend is 5'2" as well and has no trouble riding it. They're good little bikes.

Yep, and I like to ride the 225 once in a while. Drifting around the corners on the gravel roads is way easier on the 225, I think its the lower bike that makes it easier. Oh and Mustang, is that dog poop on that front tire? Come on man, you can't have that for a photo shoot. [8D] Here are a few of the wife and her bike.

Sorry I didn't mean to turn this into a photo show, but I do like showing her off. Oh and the wife too[8D]

And since you have the KLX and the 225, all you have left to do is get the truck.

My wife ride the Dr200 it sat a touch lower when she sat on it compared to the XT225. She is 5'1" so we drop the forks the the clamps about 1" and took some preload out of rear shock. That lower the bike over a 1.5". She is still not flat footed so we are going to have the seat shaved for her and it should be just right .

She has them now, that was before I could pick up some. Plus it was just for the picture.

The forks on that Yamaha look like they would snap under my weight. (no fat jokes)[8D]

[sm=bustedsign.gif] In my defense, she ran over it, not me.

My dad also has an '03 XT225, and he was thinking of trading it in on a new XT250. We went and looked at one in February. There are a lot of improvements in the XT250 over the XT225, and it retains the low seat height. It has the same engine as the Raptor 250 ATV. The front fender arrangement on the XT250 is just plain weird though. He wants to take one for a ride before he buys one.
