So i found that I can still get the Stroker Kit for our bikes.
i was calling around getting ready for my spring upgrades with the tax money. i had already a Two Bros full exhaust, 340 big bore. Which i already sold on here thanks to you guys.
So i was calling web cam inc for their camshafts and some info on them. i was going to go with a racing spec cam, they still told me the best option is the 101 rossler grind. So i said ok. but then they referenced me to four stroke works. i know i check out their website with no avail on anything for our bikes except for exhaust and plates etc. So i called and talked to jerry. He said he will still do a 365 stroker. So this is my plan for the spring. Its quite a bit of money but it all labor. im kinda excited. It comes with the 365 stroker, head work, cams, spring retainers and assembled for like $2500. i know its alot but, its better than losing my a$$ on my bike and buying another. The pumper carbs he makes are jetted and bored to his exact spec for the stroker, and they also sell a full exhaust that cheaper than most aftermarket specifically for his stroker. im gonna pair that with The msd ignition ive been messing with and see what happens. i have only seen one write up where someone has one, and one video. i guess it pull wheelies in 6th? who knows. but i cant wait.

I had a XR250 with a big bore and a Powroll stroker kit in it and it was a tractor. Gobs of low end grunt. One of the best bikes i ever had for the mountains. Wish I still had it.

If I remember right, when I looked into it a couple years ago there was some machine work involved to the case or something like that.

so what im doing once i finish my car. minus the exhaust, im going to find a klx300 pro circuit pipe and make an almost exact replica of there race bikes. first things first though, motor build and maybe force induction for the car.

What I would do instead is go find a 1999 or 2000 Yamaha WR400. You can get one of those in great shape for half the cost of that stroker job. Then you have 2 bikes.
A bike mechanic in Chicago told me that if you want to go fast, buy a fast bike. Don't try to make a slow bike go fast. He was referring to the Harley crowd, but it's all the same.

The Stroker 365 is a pretty powerful upgrade. It's a bore and stroke job with a hi-comp piston. Add in a hotter cam(like the LR grind) and it's a fire breather. A 99 wr or yz400f is a move to a fast bike but it feels nowhere as nimble as the klx and they are bears to start when they are hot and bothered...even knowing the drill. Then of course you have to find that 10 year old bike in good condition to realize a savings. On the other hand, I've heard some stories of the early 365's not holding up but never knew of anyone with those experiences. I thought Stroker was an excellent company and when upgrading my klx, I spoke to Roeseler a number of times as well as Jerry. He re-did my non-performing fcr for nothing and was a source of lots of advice. The price is surprisingly close to the same as it was 10 years ago. Good luck!
