last oil change was at about 4,200 miles, i used full synthetic red line...currently have little over 7,000 miles on it now...it's a nice caramel brown and almost a clear brown when cool...didn't want to waste good oil...i bought a gallon of semi-synthetic yamalube for my next oil change...

on another note....i misplaced my socket for the drain plug...what size is the drain plug bolt?

I only have 200+ miles at the moment but those are hard, high rpm, rocky technical miles. not easy highway miles. Hope my bike lasts as long .

you might want to do an oil and filter change...

Yeah, first oil change was at 40, dude you need to change oil now!

im at almost 21k right now, and i bet i beat mine a while lot more than you.
