Oh yah, it was FREEZING water.. I know because there was another river I decided to forge (in the summer I ride through it all the time) but I guess with the melting snow it was deeper than usual. Hit it, and my front tire immediately plowed down, and I got stuck. Had to drag it out of the river. I was soaked almost up to my knees!!

Good thing it wasn't freezing out, It wasn't too bad.

Supposed to be close to 60 on Wednesday!

Lucky.. It's been an overly constant cold here this winter, no riding for me unless I get some studded tires.
Maby you have found out already, but where your lisence plate is mounted, if your tire decides to near bottom out sometime, it will catch your plate and flip it upside down inside your fender.. :-) I had something done the same way ish.. didn't work for me anyway.
