Well I was drinking last time I posted about it so I've since changed my mind about it. The guys at gnarlyparts.ca have them so maybe I'll get one. But i still could swear I read that they get noisy somewhere. But of course I cannot find that post. Also after reading how the guy actually came in here to get some input shows some dedication to a product, so thats good enough for me.

Also didn't i read somewhere that it rattles quite a bit? I'm not dismissing it, but it just looks big and clunky.
No rattles here at all as i tightened mine all the way
the Utah sport skid also saved my water pump well over 60 miles into the trail when i ran the browning fork trail in Hatfield-McCoy in july.......saved me a long walk home when it actually left a mark that can still be seen to this day.....ride hard.......cover well.....party naked......

A skid plate does tend to reflect engine noise back up so maybe that's it. If it bothers you, you can try some bed-liner spray on the inside of the skid plate to help absorb the sound instead of reflecting it back up.

To be totally honest, I'm losing my hearing anyway (Thanks gramps) But that could very well be it nobrakes. Now its going to bug me not being able to find that thread again though. Someone was saying that the bike was noisy, and another person said something along the lines of "just wait until you get a pipe and a skid plate on there" Not important really, I'm still personally going to get one. Sound damper sounds like a pain in the **** so i think I'd just leave it.

Ok some things to point out that prove it isn't me.

1. The bike looks dirty, that one alone proves it.
2. The guy is bald, not that there is anything wrong with that
3. He's jumping over a beer keg, and in case you forgot, I hate beer.
4. I don't jump my bike, I'm too scared to.
5. I have never owned or rode a red bike.

And most importantly I'm trying really hard to prove its not me..........wait that's not helping is it?[8D][8D][8D]
