Does anybody know for sure if this CRD skid plate is even avaible still thru them. I also see for a little more they throw in frame guards. Anybody know if klx300 frame guards will fit our bike. While its expensive the CRD looks real nice and probably offers the best protection imho. IF I buy a aftermarket skid plate I will try and buy this one.

I pinged the guy at Scott's Performance today about photos of their KLX250/300 skid plate.
He assures me that he'll send photos, but doesn't have any plates in stock to take any photos of. He says that he hasn't forgotten about us, and will get the photos sent as soon as a plate become available, but right now they're backordered.
No word on a discount for forum members, though.

CRD skid plate Update ! I talked to a guy at CRD offroad 2 weeks ago and he said the KLX300 skid plate has been discontinued.I also talked to the owner at 4 STROKE WORKS .com and he makes some pretty cool stuff for our bike he is currently trying to get his hands on the KLX250s for they did not sell them in Califfornia in 2006 maybe they will in 2007. He has the front brake line guard,water pump guard,& wrap around skid plate. I wish I would have known before I bought the works connection, the works is a perfect fit though going to buy the other guard OHH YA he is a really cool guy runs the BIZ with his wife, HE also knows the KLX MOTOR well.www.fourstrokesworks.com

i really wish some1 would light a fire under the CRD teams a$$ for a full skid plate for our klx... the style that they discontinued for the 300 was killer in appearance 
does any1 know of a plate that comes close in the looks department as CRD's discontinued one?
