No Brakes Your gearing
You said in one thread that your gearing was a little high ( or low I guess) for highway running. What RPM's do you turn at say, 45 mph (Indicated, as I find 45mph is 40 mph on the gps)
Are you going to keep this set up, or swap back to stock, or a lesser rear or front sprocket?
As I wait impatiently for my exhaust, and carb/airbox goodies, Im debating on taking the last cheap step to drop the gearing, as I find myself keeping it in 5th gear 80% of the time on the road to keep the rpm's around 6 thousand where the power seems to be coming out. If I could run 6th gear at 6k at 45-50 I'd be set. I honestly have no need to go faster than 55-60 to go the speed limit... if I was turning around 8k at 60... that would be okay by my book.

No, I went back to stock the same day I tried 14:49. So I had my 49 tooth sprocket on for only one ride and while it was great off-road and through the brush, I didn't like the high RPM for highway cruising and I have to ride the highway to get to any good trails.
At stock gearing, the RPM is pretty much 1000 RPM per 10 MPH in 6th gear, i.e., 40 MPH = 4000 RPM, 50 MPH = 5000 RPM, etc. This is actual speed, not speedometer as my speedometer was 10% off, so I used a GPS for speed measurements. When in 6th gear, I would look at the RPM gage to determine my speed, not the speedometer
With 14:49, it was pretty much like losing 6th gear in the high end, if I recall. I think my RPM check had 50 MPH (actual) at 6000 RPM. Of course, the new 1st gear down low was pretty nice, I just couldn't tolerate losing 6th up high for my purposes.
I suspect it would be less than 8K at 60, though, so you might be Ok with it. At 60 MPH, I'd guestimate a little over 7K RPM. I know several on here run 14:49 and it doesn't bother them. If the higher RPMs up high don't bother you, I highly recommend it - it was great gearing down low.

Are you looking to sell your setup, or have you already?
I tihnk the gearing would definatly fit my riding style, maybe next month Ill fit it into the budget ( I need to brake my 7mm mag first
)

I'm going to keep my chain for sure, but I'll sell the sprocket. Someone else was interested in it also, but it's not sold. Let me know when you get ready to buy and see if I still have it. It only has about 20 miles on it.
