I'm sure you can do it. The template is actually made out of fairly sturdy foam board. You can get it pretty cheap at the hobby store.

Just to let people know I just ordered the scorpion skid plate (scorpionracing.ca) and they have a coupon code on right now for 20% off skid plates and rad gaurds. So with that and the free shipping they offer it came to 120 bucks canadian. Great deal I think. Just enter TT20OFF on the checkout for the code.

If shipped Canada Post brokerage should be minimal, just like shipping USPS from USA to Canada. It's only when shipping courier that outrageous "brokerage" charges are incurred. At least that's my experience getting things from the US. I've been amazed at the size/weight of things that have been shipped to me USPS (eg Cycleracks rear rack)(I think that even made it here without ANY border fees at all, canucks will know what I'm saying). Some outfits seem to be in cahoots with UPS, Fedex, etc. and outright refuse to ship USPS.

I found that out the hard way FedEx nailed me $60 brokerage on a $125 item. Oh well I guess we pay extra to be Canuck.

No prob. I got mine in the mail last week. Never had a chance to put it on yet but it looks great. Was surprised how light it was but still very sturdy construction
