So here's a short ride report I put in the Minimalist Touring Thread on ADV.
It contains some info that you will know about the bike because I was writing for a wider audience.
All in all, a great trip!
Discovered the header does glow a dull red! I finally desmogged the bike, that should help. I also changed the A/F screw out some more on the trip, I was getting a lean spot at full throttle, which is now gone.
Best quote of the trip goes to a little old lady that came up to me and said,"What do we have here?" "Street legal dirt bike", I said. Her reply,"Looks like you take good care of it. My son has one too, he calls it 'Amazing Grace'."
There were also a lot of bikers saying,"You came from where? And you're riding that how far?"
