Shaved seat
Passed by harbor freight and they have this stapler for $4.99. so I bought it and what the heck, I shaved my seat...
For guys like me who is vertically challenged, this is the cheapest mod.
I used kitchen knife and sander. easy.

Thanks. Tried it on the trail, love it.
I was able to get like almost 1.5 inches off. Now, I could plant both my feet during traffic stop. I also noticed I could shift better with the seat lowered. my knees are more bent now . More stable on tighht trails.

I agree,
It looks like you did a really neat and clean job. Always nice to see somebody pay attention to detail.

I'm 5'4 140 lbs 29 inches in seam. Now it's great. I never knew until I shaved the seat that handling improves if your knees are bent. No more miss shifting and better tighter turns on technical trails. Now I feel I need to rejet even with 14 48 gearing, I feel I need more ommmmp on the trail.
