Default Selling my dead SF

Finally tracked down the noise my bike has been making. The connecting rod big end bearing is trashed, and my Bill Blue cylinder and piston are badly worn on the front and rear surfaces, probably due to the sloppy bearing.

I have a KTM on order, and want to just get out from under this bike... as much as I loved it.

Would like to sell it whole. You could buy lj-rubi's engine and get her going! Or if you've got an S that you want to motard or an SF you want to hop up, this it your cheapest route there! Would like to see $950 for it, otherwise I'll part her out. I try not to think about how much I have in it . Could haul it a reasonable distance if you cover gas.

If you part it out I might be interested in the wheels.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear that. My '12 lunched the rod bearing last year and did the same thing as yours. Bill helped me out on repairing the cylinder and I replaced the crank and essentially did the same mods as your engine- she has been purring for about 5k miles so far and she runs like a scalded dog. Good luck with the new ride.
