Hey, Deric. Hang tough. Let the BS pass and lets all get on with what this forum is about. It's the old story for everyone. Police ourselves or be policed. Frankly, I prefer the former. Yea, I said "latter" before, but that was a brain fade.

Gary, stick around. I only met you once and briefly at that, but I've learned enough about you since then to value your expertise on the forum, not to mention that awesome bike your ride.

Too much has been invseted by the whole gang to let one antagonist ruin it for everybody else. Let him go in peace.

Bill

Hey, wedid the 'self police' thing pretty well and were pretty tolerant for quite some time, but everyonce in awhile you get problems that require an exterminator and pesticide.

Gentlemen (a term I use loosly),

Nobody is to quit!
(Not unless they actually want to)
I don't understand the word quit.

I know there are things written at times that are offensive to some.
Sometimes inadvertantly and sometimes by design.

But so what?
Free speach shouldn't have limitations. (OK maybe some)

Most of the people who post here are top blokes in my opinion.
Not only do we all contribute something we all take something as well.
A community is the sum of all who participate.

It's going the wrong way if people start quitting.
We all lose.

I don't post as much as I used to.
No particular reason.
I guess my bike is pretty much set up as I like it.
And I only occasionally get involved general chit chat etc.

But I still tune in from time to time.
Read what I want and post when I think I can contribute.

But to quit because some "bell end" (maybe from Iowa, maybe from the North Pole) writes something??!!!???

Nup. Never going to happen.

I can't remember who said it but I will quote him anyway.
Don't let the B*****ds grind you down.

(I think it was Don Chip, a minor party politician, (the democrats here in Aus are a minor party) when talking about taking it up to the 2 major parties) I didn't always agree with his view but I always admired his spirit. He's dead now and the world is a less a place because of it.

Geez, didn't know I had that much to say.

Some things just annoy the s**t out of me.

You betcha! Good stuff Neil. "Don't let the B*****ds grind you down."
I think U2 stole those words and used them as lyrics for oneof their songs, although they may have substituted a word here and there.

This seems to be what happens as a matter of course, sooner or later, with all bell ends from wherever.
