With all the actions and reactions of the past two weeks on this forum, I have done some real soul searching as to whether or not I need to be on here.
For the first 18 months of this section, I believe that it was a worthwhile effort. Giving and receiving information that made my KLX experience rewarding. Reading ride reports, seeing everyone’s bike, developing new friends, and helping each other out. Maybe I’m old fashioned but these are the things that make forums like this useful.
I have gotten to know a few of the posters personally, and have help several out whenever I had the opportunity.
But lately it has gotten to be a disappointment to log in and see yet another topic highjacked and turned into an argument. [sm=sigh.gif]
(for the blind moderator[/b]: when the same person continually is the start or cause of the disagreements, you have got to wake up and smell the coffee. He doesn’t make these inflammatory remarks because he needs a friend, or had a bad childhood. He is just a mean spirited, arrogant, trouble maker!)[sm=signs007.gif]
It’s pretty sad that IG sees himself as a contributor because after he flames someone the post goes for another 10 pages as a result of his sophomoric coments. He is, as he has been referred to countless times, A Tool! A Troll! A S**t stirrer! [sm=exactly.gif]
When all this is allowed to go on, I find no usefulness in this forum.[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]
I reflect back and know that Marty left because of this. No one can deny that Marty was an excellent source of information and knowledge. Now FM has decided to go. The same holds true for him……he has been a regular contributor, and his contributions will be missed. There are others that have backed way off on posting because of the flaming attacks by IG. I personally couldn’t care less about the guy. His childish remarks and liberal rants only enhance the already low opinion that the majority has for him. But the fact remains that his presents on this board hinders its usefulness. I recently told a fellow member that IG wasn’t worth the bandwidth that it took to reply to his nonsense. But I have failed to practice what I preach and here I am responding to the disturbance.[sm=guilty.gif] I’m just sick and tired of opening the forum to always see the “argument of the week”.
So for that reason I won’t be participating in this forum while IG is allowed to stay.
In day to day life, if I encountered someone with the same attitudes as IG, I would walk away and avoid them. Certainly not try to be their friend! So that’s what I’m doing …….. walking away.

For those of you that I have become friends with, I will still be available through PMs.

Deej, It would appear that your proactive solution to this problem is working. When everyone is gone, there will be no one left for IG to argue with. (excellent approach to solving the problem!) [sm=badidea.gif] [sm=smiley21.gif]

 

Sheesh, do you even know what a moderator can and can't do? As I stated in the hijacked thread, I made my recommendations and the admins did what they thought should be done. Its not my website. Its not my fault. The only thing that is my fault is trying to get along with every single person that comes on here. W/E

 

Gotta say, I do not post here much because a lot of the BS that goes on too. Just not worth the aggrivation over a stupid i-net forum.

Mods should fix the problem, not the symtoms.

well if everybody ingnored IG and his comments like he was not even there that would of been great, soon he would of left when he saw no one cared or fed his fire. let him chase you away and he has won

The IG diesease is spreading, another valuable member has leftin order tokeep one around that hasnone.

Wow this turned ugly fast. You mean to tell me that all of you now think I'm somehow different than I was 3 days ago? Or that I am somehow different from the guy that came on here in October of 05 two months before I even got my KLX? Come on you guys are better than this. I know it. If I am reading this right some of you are mad at me for not doing what I was never authorized to do in the first place. How many of you have been mods? Forget it you know what, I already gave my resignation and someone else can step up to the plate. I hope when people start hating you then you have the ***** to come back to me and say sorry.
