I hope they offer one for the 07 model. I have a Sargent for my DR650 and can't imagine going back to the old DR seat.

 

Its a race to see who gets my money first Sargent or IMS. In case of a tie Ill probably go with the seat.

I've been checking out the site every few days to see if there are any good news. They did say late Spring, early Summer so that would technically be late June....

I can't believe I've been riding for 5 years now on the most uncomfortable seat ever! As mfugly as the corbin seat is, had they made it for the '06-'07 bodystyle I woulda gotten it in a hearbeat.

 

Lets hope for before July! I have a Vermonster trip to make!

 

It has been mentioned elsewhere but not in this thread, so here it is.... Seat Concepts. If you do a search you'll find some info on here about it. I took the plunge and ordered one; the price is right at $159 compared to the alternatives. It is much, much better than stock but I only have done one long day with it so far (as long as numerous short rides) so the jury is still out. So far I'm quite happy with it and I figured the risk was small at that price. Install was simple.

 

Do you have any pics of it on your bike?
Also is that $159 for the foam and cover only?

 

BTW.. what is wrong with the Corbin seat?
What is the draw to Sargent?
Price/fit/comfort??

 

Corbin does not make it for my bodystyle, only for the '09 and up. I would have gotten the Corbin already if they made it for my bike.
