I took another step toward better visibility today.

Well actually yesterday I installed a new Philips x-treme vision bulb. It is whiter and brighter without being to harsh. I like it. I am going to now add some driving lights.

But the other thing I did today was getting a blinky light for my messenger bag.
I always ride with my timbuk2 messenger bag and it has a strap for one. I bought the brightest and best one money can buy for a whopping $30.
It is retina searing. I like the idea that the light is up on my back - higher than the tail light. I asked a trooper at the motorcycle shop the other day if doing this would be an issue and he did not see why it would as long as it was red in the back.

I may do a yellow for the front too.

More info please on ordering the tape. I searched "reflective tape" on Amazon and got a few hits none that look like the tape you used.

Any info on the tape? Like manufacturer? Might be able to find locally.

BTW - If it does not have PVC in it I can maybe cut it with my laser engraver.

Gasses from cutting PVC are bad for the laser.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I'll check some local places (Autozone type) then probably order from Amazon.

Helmet. Have you considered sticking reflective stickers on them? A co worker traced the graphics and covered them with reflective stickers. . Better imho, it sits way up there. Eye catching.

Default reflective tape

AutoZone has similar looking reflective tape ( silver and red ) - two sizes both around $10.
