RPM at Top Speed
Cool! Does the vapor have volts indicator?

When I get my Vapor fitted I'll let you know what my top speed is with the 17" and 42 tooth.

The 14:42 combo @ 8500 RPM = 87 MPH sounds right also.
I use a trail tech vapor calibrated with my GPS and both match each other very well, usually within 1/10th of a MPH. I've never had my bike up to 85 MPH - feels a little squirrely at high speed with my trak master II tires, but it is uncanny how closely RPMs / 100 matches the actual speed with the stock gearing.

Actually, I used 9000RPM for all of the KLX250 results since that was in the ballpark of what most were reporting at 'terminal velocity.' My D-Tracker probably only got to 8500 due to the 14/39 combo...that and the fact that it's completely stock. The speadsheet I'm using probably doesn't get it down to the nat's azz, but I think it gets pretty close.
Is there a volts readout on the Vapor?
