Yep, stay loose and have fun. But get out and ride and don't worry what anyone else thinks. But definitely ride with some more experienced riders, hopefully some with a little patience. It's good to push yourself a little each time out, but not so much that you get hurt of course. You are the only one that can gage your limits. Slow steady progress. Baby steps. Pretty soon you will be mid-pack and helping the new guy.

Haha..... i saw that somewhere and saved it. You look at life different when your life gets turned upside down. You really see whats important. To me, my daughter is my world then motorcycles and riding is a very close second. My life literally revolves around riding. Always thinking about when im riding next. Made plans last night at bike night with my buddies to go to Ocean City MD for memorial day weekend. Ride the KLR down.

Default Flat track skilz

A while back I took a course offered by the local flat track group. Great stuff! small dirt track using little 125s with no front brakes. The whole day was spent working on body position and throttle control to initiate and control slides. The last session was the graduate seminar - they hosed the track down to make it goose-**** slick.

If you ever get a chance to do something like this, jump on it!
