I guess I just got lucky.... I have a rim lock on the rear but not on the front and I don't notice any vibration at high speed at all. I've had it at 65mph for considerable length of time and experinced nothing out of the ordinary.

Hey what kind of GPS is that? Batery or is it wired.
Garmin GPSMAP 276C - just got it last week. So far I give it a solid thumbs up. My only complaint at this time is that the memory card slot is Garmin proprietary. Some units take a standard flash memory card format which are about 1/10th the price of Garmin's proprietary cards. Unfortunately, this one only take the Garmin proprietary format.
Thanks it is on my wish list for sure, I have one in my car and work van and do not know how I ever survived with out it.
