The weather said showers ending early in the morning with only a 40% chance of thundershowers later in the afternoon..It had stopped raining when myself and one of my riding buddies left to meet up with another riding buddy. ..We rode the railway from pictou to River John to Tatamagouche....

The bottles were already there. We waited out the downpour, but had to eventually leave. Unfortuneately, I managed to get a flat front tire along the way and had to baby the bike back home. I am too wet to try and fix it tonite, but had a tonne of fun rain or shine.

Total distance travelled was 191KMs.

A couple of weeks ago I took my bike across from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth on the CAT Ferry, I didn't make it as far north as you guys rode but I sure enjoyed the scenery and people looping the 101 around and back on the 103.
Not very many good eating places along the way though so if you spy a place that looks decent don't it's best not to pass it up as it may be a while before you run across another suitable stop.
I didn't get rained on but it threatened to both days.

Great pics, fortunate coming upon that shelter when you did, that looks like quite a downpour.

yes deej, you can stick this in the ride report thread...thanks...BTW your ride to Canada report was really good...too bad you didn't have better weather for your trip. The whole month of August sucked on the east coast for any riding..it rained the entire month pretty much. But the leaves will soon be changing colors and i am hoping to get a lot more riding in the next month than I did the past month....and a couple more reports too.
