Default Ride cut short today, right foot peg sheared off.

Get to the land of the pristine trails, and 10 mins into it I'm climbing a hill and my right foot peg mount shears off. That was a good time, almost looped the thing over but I caught it.

Good times. Freakin 55 and sunny out too! You guys might want to take a peek at that right mount.. There's a peg on one side and a bolt on the other. The peg sheared right off and the rest of it is still in the hole. I can slide it almost out but gets caught right before coming out. Tried a strong magnet.. I might have to epoxy something to it or something. I dunno.

Now that I look at a schematic I guess it's not a peg, there must be a bolt on the other side.. And it's a $67 piece from bike bandit!!!

On a side note - anyone know of anyone parting out a KLX?!

Figures too - the whole week will be sunny and 55-60

Larry can you grind it flat, center punch it, drill it, and then tap it and run a bolt in from the other side? Just until you get the new part.

You must have cracked it during one of your previous naps. Something for all of us to keep in mind.
