Replacing Steering Head Bearings - Tools?

Ended up with some time today and got the bike all put back together. The trick with freezing the stem really helped with getting the bearing seated. I used the inner race from the old bearing, a piece of pipe and a hammer, and it took about 3 pops with the hammer to get it all the way seated.

Went for a little test ride, and the steering works perfectly now. No more notchiness or tight spots.
