Regardless, we've had them in for 2 years WITH DRL's. People have posted that they don't last.

I'd say you got some good life out of those bulbs! I have no clue how much better the Philips bulbs are. They garner a lot of attention however.

As far as vibration... I certainly will not help matters

When I put mine in I will report back. I expect more light but certainly not the output of the HID kits. They should however give a good beam for driving with little wasted light. We shall see.

I am thinking about a set of driving lights for sure. I do like the idea of more than one source.

Wasn't disputing your claims... it's useful feedback.

The one's who say they don't last probably grab the glass with their bare fingers while installing them too...

Good point. Alot of the "these don't last for ****" reports might just be from idiot installs.

After changing a headlight bulb this week on my SF, I can confirm the bulb talked about on this thread will not fit!!

The H4 Philips x-treme vision will not fit any Asian spec EFi S or SF (D-Tracker) twin bulb model.

The EFi Asian spec bike is a twin bulb H6M fitment at 30w/30w power rating! If you want to upgrade to a brighter bulb then search for H6M Super White Xenon Headlight Bulb, these bulbs are actually rated at 35w/35w & emit the brightness equivalent of 70w/70w.

The bulbs in the picture below will fit & work great.
