I started to put my new Renthal Jimmy Button bars on tonight and ran into a problem. The knurled part of the bar would not go through the clutch perch. I tried spreading the perch but I still couldn't get it further than about 1/4 inch. Anybody elase run into this? Suggestions?

I think I'm going to cut about 3/4 inch off each side to ease the stretching of the cables that others have mentioned with this setup. That will be 3/4 inch of knurl I won't have to deal with.
