i work for a kawa dealer we had to do 3 of these including mine its not a big deal but they are right there is grip glue gooped all through the bars i had to drill it out it was so thick to put in my bar end mirrors

 

I just want some free new grips!

 

My bike falls in that VIN# range. Am I going to die if I don't get them warrantied? Am I already dead? Oh God!!!!!!!! I ride with dead people.

 

Stock grips stink anyways....

But my $.02...I think after the recall they used extra glue...I replaced my grips and it took forever to get the throttle end off...Had to use a razor and shave it clean..

Also the new grips put too much pressure on the throttle end and cause the throttle to stick for a half second all the time....Had to yank the throttle assembly off and lube the steel bars...
