For anyone wanting information on the new 250 Ninja, you MUST read these three reviews posted in Bay Area Riders Forum by a rider who has incredible knowledge about these bikes. It is in depth and in Three parts. The best reviews written on the new 250R Ninja by far. Enjoy.

RE: RE:CORRECTED links to An Amazing Must Read Review of the new 250R
For those who read Gary's three reviews, here is part 4. In this part he lets a friend ride his 250 and he takes a 600. An interesting outcome. Might make some who look down on the little ninjette rethink their position. Once again; enjoy.

RE: RE:CORRECTED links to An Amazing Must Read Review of the new 250R
This “nit†appears in the form of a “hiccup†(momentary power lag, followed by a ****** as it kicks in again) when going from total off-throttle position, to just cracking the throttle back on again …… in approximately the 4,500 – 6,000 RPM range …… especially noticeable in the lower (3rd/4th, etc) gears. While following closely being a train of cars in front of me (at around 30-35 MPH), every time they would go through their unexpected cycle of slowing and speeding up again, and I was forced to go to zero throttle and then come back into it again, I’d get a momentary “******†as if the bike lost fuel, and then had it turned back on again like a light switch.

The more I ride the new 250, the more I like it. Tremendous bike. Forget the size or the price. Very crisp, clean, and smooth. A race bike's heart.
