while this is still here, did you notice and deline in performance at that age. anything go diffrent or weird.

To answer the question, No really no lose in power just was using oil but not smoking. You would see the fender turning dark. I run a Two brother slip on. The needle was changed pilot jet was the same the fuel mixture changed still ran stock main jet which was 118. snorkle removed. My commute to and from work 76 miles round trip. I did most of trip at 65-70 mph. I also did put on 16,000 miles on my VN900C last year to. So yes I do ride motorcycles alot but bugs in the face and wind in your hair is better than heater in your auto!!! But not to much hair at 52 years old !!!!

I have to say W VA is the best state for street bikes ever. Once I rode outside of Buchannon and I didn't have a car come in either direction for a solid hour.
W Va also has the best maintained roads. The scenery is great too. A couple of years ago I attended the BMW MOA rally in Charleston. Riders came from all over the US and world to enjoy the riding.

I have 20000+ on mine my speeddo broke I thik I just need to replace the cable. If I were to guss how many I had I would say about 25 to 30000 miles on it all stock did not check the vavals at all. I think I am buring alittle oil how much did the rebuild cost
