Default Rear Swiwgarm Maintenance Question

Had the swingarm off to replace the bearings and noticed that there is some side to side play with the linkage. Should there be any play?

If you are talking about being able to slide the pivot pins from side to side then that is normal. The only thing that shouldn't have any perceptible play is radial movement(in line with the ends of the links). When you pull the linkage apart it should be pretty obvious if any of the bearings need replacement.
