rear fender eliminated...
I can't seee your pictures, but my plate has been sideways since shortly after I got the bike. The original plate mount and taillight goy eaten by the rear tire, so I used a Baja designs taillight and plate mount. The only problem is the licsence plate breaks in half about every six months. It isn't really a problem here, they issue new plates for $6. I put a frame around the last one and it has lasted a little while longer than the first few did. I have seen people mount the plates on top of the rear fender facing straight up who never got stopped for it.
