Mine goes 'whop, whop, whop' at idle and 'spat, spat, spat' while opened up and accelerating...and it looks like abig titanium cannon. What more could you ask of an exhaust?

Ive had a BIGGUN for about a year now and the piece of hud is rusting. I keep it indoors too. Maybe they forgot to make mine out of stainless steal.

I've still read that the midpipe is mild steel as recent as last week in a 2008 on-line catalogue, so I don't think it is stainless.[]

Ha Ha Ha Ha......sorry r8d8ter......not directed at you, but we had an Iowa poster that justdid nuthin but brag about his big gun,.... got old real fast....... I got a 2 year old full Muzzy that see's salt water and Fl muck all the time....no rust or fading... but it is noisy...performance...well seems good but I got nuthin to compare it too.

i had the full muzzy set up for 2000 miles. i sold that and bought the fmf Q4 and put the stock header back on. i did a 45 mile loop thru a local boneyard the otherday and couldn't be happier. i can't sayif there is any peak HP gain but down low where i needed it thereis a noticeable increase.compared to the muzzy this pipe is down right quiet. all my friends commented onthe sound. the muzzy was too much. this pipe is just right. at $345 it was pricey but i got what i wanted. less db and moretorque off the bottom.
here's a pic of the pipe.

the one thing that i'm not too sure about is how long the can is. it extends pretty far out back and i'm concerned that i'll crush it eventually. i took quite a few diggers with the muzzy on and it showed no damage at all. so i guess the only thing to do is wait and see.
