Hi all,

I'm looking for an aftermarket seat or a seat modification which raises the stock KLX250 seat. Somewhere in the region of 1-3 inches. At 6ft tall with long legs, I often get sore knees after longer seated road rides. Does anyone have any information on this? Much appreciated!

 

I'd look for a local upholstery shop.
I'd think that adding a layer of foam and a new cover would do it.

 

Make sure the upholsterer does what you want. Have them do the foam and have you check it out before doing the cover. That way you actually could test ride the bike with the modified seat before having the cover done. They can do any additional modifications or make changes before doing the cover.
