Fact is you can make dog bones with some flat steel stock of the right thickness. Take the OEMs of, measure and subtract roughly 10-15 mm from the bolt center to bolt center. Drill up a set of flat stock pieces, contour the ends round on a grinder, sand them down, paint them, and install them.

Numerous people have done this. A friend of mine did it on his KDX200, didn't get fancy, used 1 or 1-1/2" wide flat steel bar stock. He didn't even round the ends of the bones, filed off the burrs and stuck them on.

If you want to take a lot of time with a band saw you can even cut the bone profile to make them pretty!
