Default Radiator Guards...

Anybody have a hint about what Rad guards to use. The KLX250s isn't listed on any manufacture's website. Kind of sparce for parts out here in the middle of the pacific, gotta order online and shipping in murder out here. Don't want to just give it a try to find out I've gotta wait another week for the boat to come in with the right part. Looking for something to cover the whole body of the radiators, not just the side "Brace" style I've seen. Thanks for any input.

Default Radiator Guards...Update

Ok, so I emailed Brain Bennett of Unabiker Radiator Guards and he says he has been getting requests for guards for this bike but he needs one localy so he can get them made. Anyone live near Indianapolis, IN 46227? If so I'd owe you big time, I know sometimes companies will give you your set free for being the guinea pig, usually it's just lost riding time, no bike wear or anything. I'd give him mine but it's not quite worth the freight charge from Hawaii . Hope someone is willing and able as the colder weather sets in over there!

Here's their info:

Doubtful, the KLX400 is the same bike as the DRZ400.

I'll contact him, I'm not too far from Indy. I'm not willing to give up my bike untill after the first of October, but after that would be ok.
I'll keep you posted.

Works Connection Radiator Braces
KLX250/KLX300
Was: $57.95 Now: $55.05

Lightweight, rigid aluminum design
Reduces the chance of radiator damage
A must for any water cooled bike

Works Connection Radiator Braces are designed to prevent damage to radiators caused by side impacts during a crash. These braces are hidden behind the radiator shroud so the bike keeps its stock appearance. If you wear knee braces, they are highly recommended because of the additional stress put on the radiator mounts from your knees.

The Works Connection Radiator Brace install in less than 5 minutes. They are cheap insurance when yiou compare it to the cost of buying a new radiator! Designed with the motocrosser in mind, they do not block airflow and are really light weight.
