I have a set of these hubs getting laced and trued to Excel 17in. rims for a SM setup. They will be coming with 250KLXs carriers. http://www.radmfg.com/hex%20kit.htm

The hubs are interchangable with different models jusy by changing the carriers, added selling feature IMO.

My question is if I would get carriers for a 07 300KLX would the wheels fit my 07 250KLXs? If so then I have more choices with front rotor options. No modifying needed to add the EBC rotor.

The 300 has 6mm bolts on the front rotor instead of our 8mm, will that hurt? Are they heavier for a reason?

Will it work? I thought is was a good idea?

 

Well just talked to Rad and they don't suggest it. He was not 100% sure it will work ? They have the same rear carrier and the front carrier as the 300KLX just tapped from a 6mm to a 8mm. He said it is tapped for a reason, not sure why though. He said contact Kawie?

So I'am sticking with the stock carriers.

 

I would like to order some of those spokes with anodized nipples, but don't see our bike listed in the chart. Am I blind, just don't see it?

 

They don't list out bike but know the specs. Give them a call or email. If you want I could order them for you...Ha Ha!! Inside joke...

I have green hubs, black carriers, green nipples, S.S. spokes and black Excel rims coming.
