Default Rad Gaurd Suggestions 2007?

I'm looking for some advise on Rad Gaurds for an 07 250, for sideimpact and front protection

I've seen the Unabiker which look good.

MSR ones don't look helpful.

SW-MOTECH radiator protector? Do they have much side impact protection?

What does everyone recommend. any tips for getting them shipped to Canada? or are there any good canadian shops that have them in stock?

or are there some other alternatives?

I just installed the unabiker guards this last Monday. It wasn't too hard and the guards made a stout cage for the radiators. I was not impressed with the cutouts in front of the radiator, they looked very amatuerish and chunky. Like they were done by hand. Functionally they are sufficient but look cheap. The material is pretty light weight too but I suppose they don't need to be as thick as a skidplate right?

I would buy them again.

The best thing about the Unabiker ones are that they repell the ground. By that, I mean that I have not been able to drop the bike, yet. It has to be the radiator guards that are doing it...something like an anti-gravity shield effect maybe?

That's a Muphy's law thing. Because you bought them you won't need them. If you didn't have them you would be dropping the bike left and right. Murphy's law will now come into effect again, since you went ahead and told us that the guards repel the ground, Murphy will now make a liar out of you by making the bike go down.
Trust me I have plenty of experience with Murphy.
