Yeah, you're right. Better leave the stock 6lb capacity rack on there for touring...good call

ease up, the '09 does not come with a rack. It was a sarcastic statement regarding the weight gain the '09 got while having no rack.

Just to let you know, photos do not show when you open up the rack pages. At least on my computer.
