Hey guys!

Just ordered the Nuvi 550 and I was wondering if it's complicated to enter a route in it? A friend of mine told me he had to upload waypoints to his computer first, give a name to the file "From A to B" and then "retransfer" the file to his GPS in order to have it work.

Is it that complicated or is he just too dumb to do it properly "live on the spot"?

If you are trying to create a route with specific stops along the way then your friend. Is correct. If you just want to go to a saved waypoint you can do it directly from the gps. Does that answer your question?
