I went to Cycle Gear today and they happened to have the Scorpions in stock, even though the front is slightly bigger (90/90-21) then what I orginally wanted (80/90-21). Fortunately they matched the online prices I got and mounted / balanced them for $20 each. I'll post pics when I get the wheels back on the bike.

hey, the 90 profile may make your speed a bit more accurate?

I run the bigger size front for the extra cush on trail junk, My friends don't like them thinking they try to climb out of ruts, never had a problem with it.

For the street you can air em a bit higher for the same feel as the 80 profile.

Question on air pressure. The tire says 38 psi but the manual says 22 psi for the bike. I mainly do street, should I go with higher pressure?

No, the sidewall states the max the tire is rated for. The manual states the correct pressure for the tire on the bike, 22 lbs. I think the bike would be dangerous with 38 lbs in the tires.

That makes sense, obviously the tire is going to be rated for heavier bikes thus needing more psi. I'll set mine to 22.

Unfortunately, I couldn't both tires on tonight since the installer put the front tire on backwards. My fault for not checking before I left. So tomorrow I'll take it back and have him switch it around. Then it's test ride time!

I got both tires on today. I really like the look. It still looks like a dirt bike but with better street tires. It'll take a week to break them in before I can get real feel for them. I did notice the smoother ride on my test run so that's good.

I got a 90/90-21 and 120/80-18. I think I'll like them too.

No freeway yet. I'm looking forward to seeing how it handles at higher speeds too.
