On craigslist there was an 09 klx250s with bill blues big bore kit/pipe/silencer/3K miles going for $3900. Not a bad deal, since used ones were going for a low of $3300.

 

I picked up mine on ebay
09 330s Bigbore, FCR, muzzy, and a lot of other stuff for $4000. 3000miles
09 250s $2350 .5 miles Sold for $3500 with 3800miles
09 250s $3500 with Exhaust and a lot of custom trim 8miles
I would negotiate with them. If they dont give you the price your looking for write it down on a piece of paper with your phone & and politely let them know your available if they change their mind and your going to check into the going rate for these bikes.

I paid $3,499 out the door for my new 09 KLX250s in March.
I went to the Kawasaki web site and printed a list of all dealers within a 300 mile radius and called each one. I found 2 dealers selling S models at that price and one SF.
I took that info to my local dealer, but he would not match that price.
I ended up buying from a dealer 250 miles away.

When I bought my 2010 250S a couple of months ago, it was advertised at $4299, but here in WA state, taxes, title and license fees will add over $500 to that price.

If you do like I did, and add the Tubliss setup, a helmet, jacket and gloves to the deal, you will end up closer to $5500 out the door...

 

Thanks for all the info folks. Looks like I'll be spending more time around here. I purchased a KLX 250 SF an hour ago. I'll pick it up Monday. $3600 cash, out the door.

 

2900$ for a 09 with 3000 miles, it was all stock, and rode by an older gentleman and his son occasionally.

Donot be afraid of used 3000 miles and runs like new just needs some new tires!

 

5,041$ in Thailand...!!!!(exclude licence fee and insurance) Tax is nightmare for bigbike lover here.

 

I got my 2006 klx250s for $2100. He was asking $2500 for it but I talked him down to $2100. When I got it, it only had 5k miles on it. Came with a nice HMF slip on as well.

 

Can any of you guys who were able to get a leftover 09 KLX250SF for 3500-3600 dollars out the door PM me the name/location of the dealership you purchased at?

My local dealerships (Central Florida) still think the bikes are worth 5k and I'm having little luck getting them to budge.
