How much do you need out of it to get the boat you want? I hate to see anyone take a big hit on a nearly new bike. There is a lot of enjoyment that will be missed if you sell it in addition to the financial loss.
Yikes! That sucks!

After futher consideration, I'm just gonna keep the bike. I enjoy it too much in the summer. A lot cheaper to put gas in it than the "heavy Chevy".

And FINGER MULLET, holy crap, son! Sails...on a flats boat...that close to shore? Must be the keys...???

I'm thinkin' about towing my Wellcraft down and shootin' across to the Bahamas this summer, but we'll see.

I also wanna bring a skiff down and do some inshore. Would be awesome to pop the bike in the truck, and tow a skiff down and just play for an extended weekend.

You've got the life down there... We get muddy water for 8-12 miles and have to go 60 miles for 100' of blue water.

Come on down....summer is a great time to zip over to the bahamas...June is best (before hurricanes and the dolphin are running) I would recommend the Marsh Harbor area in the Abacos....or perhaps around walkers. No problem in your boat...just RENT AN EPIRB..just sayin.....oh and bring a boat weapon...I keep a mini 14 on the skiff.

Ocala National forest is real fun riding on the way down for the klx.....locally its swamp and sugar sand....good exercise thou.
