Default Powder Coating vs polish

Thinking about painting a set of rims black, and possibly the swing arm. Wondering if anyone else has had someone powder coat a set before? has it chipped since you had it done? about what did it cost?

I know that Powder coating is stronger than paint. This company will give you a quote Via Email. http://web.mac.com/carterspray/Site_...R_COATING.html
Just take pictures of what you want done and email them.
BTW, How do you pronounce your user name and why did you choose it?

Powder coat is very hard to chip or scratch we used to do our drag bike frames very hard stuff and cheap to get done but does add a little more weight compared to paint but not an issue on our bike

Pie-4-foo-U... I've had the same name for like 10 years.... meaning i picked it when i was like 10 years old, so who knows... haha, i just use the same name for every account so i dont have to remember a million sn's

Thanks for the link, i'm gunna shoot them an email soon. I hate all the scratches in my aluminum parts... wonder if i cant lightly sand them out before it gets powdered...
