Performance Exhaust choices and considerations.

I'm trying to confirm which year (part numbers) for the KLX 300R exhaust and muffler that will fit my 2018 KLX 250 (which is now a 300 motor)
The frames look so different, it doesn't look like the 2021 300R muffler would bolt-up to the 2018 frame but I can't tell from these diagrams.
Can anyone confirm which year 300R exhaust & muffler will fit correctly on a 2018 250 frame?
Thanks in advance!
Dave

The midpipes for slip on exhausts are the same for all KLX 250's and 300's from 2009 to 2021 because the headpipes are all the same. The only possible issue might be the mounting points for the R muffler.
The rear of KLX300R frames is different from the Dual Sport and the Supermoto frames because the rear fender assemblies are different to allow for mounting rear taillight, blinkers, and license plate holders.

Welcome to the forum.
Delkevic is the best bang for your buck.
The jetting is up to your discretion.. Mine is fuel injected and I just ride around normal in closed loop. I also like the FMF Megabomb header, but the engine still runs just fine without it.

muffler interior help please
Hello. make you can help me out with my KLX 250 stock muffler. I had to cut a hole into it to take out a piece that was loose and clanking inside like hell. closed it back again by welding. now I miss the noise it had before since the piece that I extractes was this pierced pipe with a sleeve around it. so im considering opening it up again and welding the piece back in, since it is in good shape. only the attachment points rusted and that's whay it fell off.
the question is whether that piece goes attached to the pipe coming into the muffler or if it goes welded to the pipe coming out of it toward the tail opening. I'm attaching a picture of the part I don't know where to weld. I need to know in order to decide where Im cutting open the muffler to drop and weld it
THX!
