Has anyone installed a pair of Pelican cases "pannier" style on a KLX 250? I've seen pics of Pelican 1200 cases mounted on the rear rack and I'll probably do this. I'm curious if someone has bothered to mount two of them.

I'm looking at the Dirt-Bagz myself. Large hard cases like the Pelican's are heavy. Personally, I like the latches on my Hardigg Stormcases better.

 

Consider the 1300 pelican for the the rear rack. Same length and width but a little taller.

 

Good suggestion. I own several Pelican cases including a 1200 and a 1300 that I use for other, non-bike related things. If I use just one on the rear rack, I'll use the 1300 for the extra height but if I come up with a pannier bag-style solution, I'll use a pair of 1200's.
